The Italy Legal Market
Despite the discouraging economic outlook with the Italian economy, 2018 was a busy year from a recruitment perspective. A recent trend has shown that recruitment has become difficult for companies; Clients have told us that one of the major issues they have been facing when it comes to recruitment is finalising the process and closing the offer as they have faced an increase in the amount of offer rejections. It appears that companies are struggling to attract the best talent on the market with budgets that are often below market rate. As a result, despite cost awareness remaining a hot topic, the need to use a recruiter has become a necessity.
Until recently, the move in-house was perceived by candidates as an opportunity to work in a professionally stimulating context while enjoying a better work-life balance. As a result, candidates were prepared to trade off money for a more professionally balanced life.
