About the role
Our client is seeking to expand their growing insurance team, working alongside senior partners in the defence of matters across all classes of general liability - in particular professional indemnity matters, with a focus on Directors and Officers claims.
This team acts for a range of insurer clients locally and internationally, and focuses on financial lines (including D&O and class actions) as well as professional indemnity across a broader range of industries including construction/ engineering.
The firm is recognised as a leader in the insurance space. They act for key international insurers in emerging markets and advise corporates on a range of indemnity matters, complex coverage / class action matters and cyber incident protection and response.
- 2-7 years' PQE with experience in professional indemnity matters, particularly within Financial Lines / D&O / Class Actions
- A lawyer with contentious construction and/ or strata experience seeking to expand their expertise into this area would also be of interest
- Possess strong commercial awareness and enjoy / feel confident in building rapport with clients in order to better understand their business needs and deepen client relationships
- Motivated, ambitious candidates who are agile and adaptable in their approach will do well in this role
