Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious)
An outstanding opportunity has arisen at our client, a Top 20 national law firm for a non-contentious construction solicitor on a 3 month fixed term contract basis. The firm is open to individuals seeking to work in London, or at any of the firms' offices in the Midlands and the North of England.
The UK team, ranked in both the Chambers and Legal 500 directories, advises on high-profile infrastructure projects, both domestically and internationally.
You will provide support to a diverse client base that includes developers, investors, corporate occupiers and government bodies, with the role focusing principally on advising on real estate development projects.
You will advise clients on the full range of construction documentation, including appointments, all major standard forms of construction contract, development management agreements and the associated bonds, guarantees and warranties, as well as supporting real estate, finance, and corporate colleagues on the wider transaction documents.
The successful non-contentious construction solicitor is likely to have upwards of 3+ PQE with experience in all aspects of contract drafting and negotiation including all the major standard forms of contract including JCT, NEC, ICE, FIDIC, and IChemE. Individuals qualified in common law jurisdictions are welcome to apply.
The firm may be open to individuals seeking to work fully remote, as long as they are based in the UK. This role falls inside IR35 so must be on a PAYE basis, ideally on a fixed-term contract.
