An opportunity has arisen to become the Head of Legal with one direct report at a digital mental health platform.

This is an exciting role working alongside senior management in developing and maintaining the legal and risk framework of a rapidly growing and recently listed healthcare business at the cutting edge of technology. You will help build the company's legal structure and function.

Responsibilities will include providing high quality legal service to support strategic priorities of the company, .management of risk, legal and corporate governance requirements of business, supporting sales team with contract review and negotiations and supporting overseas development. There will be a strong emphasis on corporate governance and contract management as well as project work including employee relations, M&A and data protection

To be successful you must have a strong academic background and trained at a highly regarded law firm with 5 to 10+ years' experience. You will have solid experience in commercial contracts. Ideally you will have also completed an in-house secondment or currently be working in-house.

You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and become an integral part of the legal team and company.

The position is full time, but they will also consider candidates who are looking to work 4 days a week.
