An excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level lawyer to join a high-growth global telecoms infrastructure Plc who operate across emerging markets in Africa, with expansion plans to enter other fast-growth markets.

About the company;

A market-leading telecom tower infrastructure company who enable mobile operators to roll out and enhance coverage in high-growth markets. Owning and operating telecommunications towers and passive infrastructure in seven high-growth African markets, their principal business lies in building, acquiring and operating telecommunications towers that are capable of accommodating and powering the needs of large MNOs and other telecommunications providers, providing an essential service for the development of the communities in which they operate. The business employs over 400 people directly, and also supports over 9,000 contractor employees who are engaged in the maintenance and security of the tower network.

About the role;

Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will be primarily responsible for providing legal support in the negotiation and completion of the businesses key supplier contracts, mainly supporting the commercial and procurement divisions. This broad role will also require you to support on various projects within the business, as well as providing ad-hoc support to other internal business functions when required, as well as liaising regularly with the legal teams in the operating countries.

About you;

You will need to have between 0-4 years' PQE with good commercial contracts experience. A background in infrastructure projects as well as general commercial knowledge would be useful for the role. The candidate will need to have a genuine interest in emerging markets, with telecoms experience being desirable but by no means is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is not afraid to take responsibility, is dynamic and has a good communication style. French language skills would be an advantage.
