This exciting and highly regarded Global Broadcast Production and Live Events Media and Technology company, with a focus on sports and popular entertainment shows, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their UK legal team.

You will provide commercial, pragmatic and timely legal advice and analysis on all commercial and contractual matters, working closely with the UK senior management team. You will be negotiating and drafting a broad range of contracts related to well-known major sports events and tv productions and advising on a wide variety of issues including supply of goods and services, purchasing and confidentiality agreements. This is a lean and busy team with plenty of opportunities to get involved in exciting work and projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong academic background. You will have gained significant and demonstrable commercial law experience (4 to 6+ years), preferably gained both in private practice at a top city law firm and in house. You will have the ability to work autonomously, think strategically and creatively and communicate clearly and precisely. You must be enthusiastic, proactive, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. You will be able to build strong relationships with the senior management teams, becoming a trusted adviser.

This is an active role and they will be conducting interviews via videoconference and if necessary will onboard new joiners remotely.
