This is a great opportunity for a talented and experienced family lawyer to join an award-winning top tier Family law team at one of the UK's leading law firms.
Our client is a modern, innovative and progressive law firm with a highly experienced national family law team who are regularly instructed on high profile and complex family law matters.
As part of the firm's expansion plans, the Birmingham team are now seeking to recruit an additional Senior Associate to the busy family team. The role will include a lot of autonomy, full Partner support and a clear path for progression, making this an excellent growth role for a senior family lawyer looking who is hard working, ambitious and enthusiastic to take the next step in their career.
As a senior member of the team, our client would expect candidates to be able to demonstrate; excellent technical skills and a good mix of experience covering; separation, child arrangements following divorce, civil partnerships and same-sex marriage, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence and cohabitation agreements. You will also play a key role in leadership and mentoring junior colleagues and feel comfortable leading on day to day as well as more complex, high value cases. Strong client care, empathy, team work and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to deal with sensitive and complicated matters in a practical and positive manner.
